Hi, I’m Sharon Zhao, a UX Researcher with roots in cognitive science and design strategy.

My logo, a pool ball with an S, is inspired by the 8 ball - the last one to sink in a game. In my work, that ball represents the final step of confidence before a product ships. I do the research that ensures teams launch every iteration of a product with clarity and precision. I hope I can be the lucky 8 ball for your team.

Currently I am a Master of Design student at UC Berkeley, graduating December 2025. Before, I have a background in Cognitive Science and Business Economics from UCLA.

Most recently, I interned at Amazon, where I gained firsthand experience in B2B UX research, navigating large-scale teams and aligning insights with business strategy.

I am actively seeking full time opportunities for 2026.
